DP Tail Tidy

Has anyone installed the Ducati Performance Tail Tidy#96901112A on a Superleggera? Did the bike come with the Tail Guard Closure (covers the triangular space when License plate bracket is removed)?

I have not but based on pictures it should come with everything to install the tidy. There is also a closure that comes with both 1199/1299 SL's that closes that up for track use.

According to Ducati it should work on the 2014 SL but the instructions are only for regular 1199/1299. The rear section of the SL is totally different which makes the instructions useless. I don't have the owners manual, is there a section detailing how to install the closure?

The rear section is different, SL > others and I don't have a base model to compare with but my SL looks near identical to what I see in these pics

You might fair well asking a dealer to check and compare part numbers with a standard Panigale and if the P/N's for the OEM tail are identical across all the models then you should be solid.

Thanks DrgnRcr, I have both bikes and they are for sure very different. The part should work but I wanted to see if anyone has done it on the SL before I tear the whole thing apart. If you look under the SL, you will see that the whole bracket is attached with 3 screws, 2 by the plate holder and 1 centered towards the seat. On the regular panigale there are 5 screws, 2 by plate one centered and 2 more towers the seat. The two missing bolts on the SL are installed from top to bottom from under the tail piece.
