Update appreciated!

Making final arrangements for travel to my SL uncrating and setup before recrate for transport south.
*What rearsets/pegs have you installed (and source)?

Cannot imagine your anticipation!
"A monumental day for me today - first time ever turned over and apparently VERY LOUD. All good so far. Steve has really done some magic with the ECU - combining all the good bits of the SL and super stock ECU's - some 300+ maps apparently. Not many in the world that can do that. So anyone going to him for work - make sure you give him the respect he deserves.
Off to dyno she goes."
Looking forward to dyno~day!
Asking alot, but know we all would love to see video portions of dyno tuning with SOUND! .....{^B

Hi Dirck - I went with CRC rear sets as I liked their adjustment and the race team building bike uses them on their bike so got looked after.

The dyno work will not be shown on video I am afraid - MR refuse to show this - so I have to respect their wishes.

Plenty of vid and noise when she gets to me though!

Trade secrets. Dont want other mechanics seeing their work so that customers use them for giant SL builds like MGA

Trade secrets are HOW you accomplish something, not WHAT you accomplished. What you're implying is akin to Formula 1 cars refusing to go on track and race but "trust us, it's faster than you".

I will be getting info for sure and will inform; the issue is that it won't be truly final due to the ram air affect; also, this is not an exercise of SL with biggest BHP; its an exercise of power/weight ratio, handing and "hopefully" useable power (mapping and programming of % of throttle for each gear etc). For me (and the builder) dyno work is used as a tool to do something we want; when it gets to comparing BHP figures it becomes such a variable.... dynos vary and of course there is the BSh?t that goes with it all.

I trust my builder and the dyno he uses is known to be honest and accurate - it is the same unit he uses for his BSB RS and other race bikes; so will be able to compare against an RS racer. Considering my engine has had a lot more work done to it that an RS engine, it should be more powerful. When they measured the compression ratio was is in the 14.?? :1 area.

Bike off to dyno and pictured with builder Baz - who is rather proud of the build. Bike weighed in at 153.8kg with 3k of fuel (but need to add front brake lines and brake fluid) so target of 150k nearly achieved.

Simply contact Baz? Doubtful that others could replicate this build. Ideally, quote includes all time, parts, mapping and tuning. Potential for multi-build price impact with up-front depository commitments? Surely, others have interest in kewing! Add shipment and customs for bottom line. We owe it all to Carl for blazing the trail and finding such rare talent!
"Why not" indeed Dave? We're all looking forward to your tally!
I'm guessing at least $1K/Kg ~ donor inclusive.

No word on that great looking body kit you posted as to availability & pricing?

Best regards as always!

Nice thing for you to say about talent of MR - very true indeed; Baz and Steve have been utterly brilliant. Baz is said to be VERY proud of his build and Steve is the brains behind what he and I chose to do.

I do know someone has already asked them to do same and the answer was flat NO.

Concerning price, it's always personal but I will say when all added up build price considerably lower than if I had bought an RS.
