Re-building #219

For additional info, see this thread:

https://www.ducati.org/forums/ducati-...ed-tchase.html

So far, I have sourced the following Genuine SL parts:

Tank, NEW - $1,700
Nose Cowling, NEW - $1,450
Tail Assembly, NEW - $1,000
L/R Fairings, Take-offs - $1000
(Left Fairing has some minor scratches from removal)
------------------------------------------------------------
Sub-total - $5,150
Tank Credit - ($300)
------------------------------------------------------------
Total $4,850 Shipped

To compare, each of the above parts retail for around $4K for a total of $20K. I ain't spending that much.

Bought everything from one guy and received the L/R fairings so far, the rest should be shipped today. Is there anything that people would recommend upgrading or replacing while I'm already working on it?

LOL? T, where you be?

To be honest, I'm glad it was the SL over my R, Desmo and F4 (although I wish it was the 'Busa over all those). There are far more parts available with the 1299 coming out.

I'm thinking it's beyond help there dude. Just send it my way and I'll make sure it's taken care of...no worries!

Other then a siren, flashing HID's, and a giant roll of bubble wrap, I'ld say that bike is about as good as a Pani is ever gonna get.

i'm very sorry to read of your accident!

I have parts form my SL which were stripped from the build I did (things like radiator, fan, plastics etc) - let me know if any of this is of interest and if you FB friend request me via Carl Pettitt we can talk more.

Best wishes.
