Possibly buying Superleggera - need help/advice

Hi guys,
I am looking at adding a Superleggera and I have some questions for you that own an SL already. Here goes:

1) I am looking at three bikes. All have low miles (like less than 600). One is basically unridden. Not a single one has any warranty remaining. I know that there are at least two recalls affecting SLs, the clutch assembly recall and the Ohlins shock recall. Obviously I will check with Ducati North America to see if they have had the recall done but what else am I looking at as far as potential problems with an essentially new SL with zero warranty remaining?

2) My intention is not to leave any of these as low mileage garage queens. I don't have tons of time to ride but whichever one I buy will get ridden regularly. I think it's a serious problem for bikes like this to not get exercised regularly. With that said, while it's hard to find one with any real milage, am I better off finding one with 5k miles that's been properly sorted? I figure that this comes back to the experience of the owners as to how their ownership experience has been.

3) Lastly, if you had to do it all over again, would you buy another SL or would you buy something else - say an R or something and do some upgrades?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on the pricing. Here is one on Ebay for $50k, 1,000 miles and an extended warranty available.

Maybe you can PM me the other vehicles?

There are a bunch for sale at lower prices than that with fewer miles.

That said, I would hate to buy one and end up with an unsorted, untested motorcycle with no warranty. In other words, if it had any miles when it was new, any problems would have been discovered while it was under warranty. And that's why I asked the question as to the problems (if any) that you owners have seen in the course of your ownership. I don't think that those problems depend on the price I'd pay, right?

I can't seem to edit my post but when I say "a bunch," I mean I've found three and possibly a fourth.

I'd be interested in sharing info. I bought an extended warranty for my SL JIC something did happen. The reason why I pointed out the one on Ebay is that it has an existing extended warranty should anything occur. Buying a bike without one would run the risk of not qualifying for an extended warranty. LMK, thanks.

I haven't heard anything back from any of the owners that I've PM'd so I'm just going to wing it. I'll post the outcome at some point. Thanks.

Southlake Motorcars in TX. Original owner traded it in on a Porsche GT3RS.

No idea about the rubber bands. My guess is that they weren't removed during the PDI. I mean the bike only has 63 miles on it so it's not like it went to someone who took it out regularly or even broke it in. He had it on display. I think he even has the original crate it came in.

Already talked to the logistics guy for one of the Ducati race teams and he's already teed up his guys for this but it's the start of a holiday weekend so I don't expect to know that stuff until the middle of next week. Only did the deal a few hours ago so I will have to wait until next week Tuesday to get those other details resolved.

Also, when it comes, I'm not going to take delivery of it. It will go to Boulder Motorsports and they will go through the whole thing top to bottom and service it before I even throw a leg over it.

Yeah, there are 2 recalls on the bike, don't know if they were performed or not on yours.

I checked. Both were performed.

Still, with 63 miles in 3 years, it needs to be completely gone over by my mechanic before I ride it. And, of course, I didn't buy it to be a decoration so it has to be ready to do more than just look cool.
