2001 748 in ned of new wheels. Which year/models will fit ?

(In NEED of new wheels, for whatever reason it wont let me edit the topic ?)

Hey guys, New to the forum but not these bikes as a whole. Previous owner of a heavily modded 2001 S2R1K. Picked up a 2001 748 this past summer and now its time to make it look alittle better..

So the question is, what wheels will and will not bolt up to my 748 ? I have heard small bearing wheels will work in the rear, where the front has more to do with spacers and rotors ? How do I know what bikes are what bearings ?

Is their a certain year say 848 or Multistrada where the wheels are a direct swap on to my 748 ? If I had my pick the split spoke wheels would be key but im down for whatever works. These factory tri spoke wheels have to go !

Any and all help is greatly appreciated...

I have a bunch of aluminum and magnesium 5 spoke marvic and Marchesini wheels that are direct bolt on. What exactly are you looking for?

I would like at the least a 5 spoke wheel to get rid of the 3 spoke stock wheels (really not a fan of those). Shoot me a email at [email protected] with more info of what you have...

The 5 spokes. They were also available on the 1100 Multi and some Monsters. Make sure the wheels you are looking at have the 6 hole mount for the front rotor. Other later wheels went to a 5 hole brake rotor mount, so that would also be a new set of rotors. They are lighter than the 3 spoke Brembo wheels.
