New member, question about rear seat 999

Hi all

Just joined the forum.

Always dreamed of owning a Ducati and now seriously considering a 999, seen a nice 03 model and am on the verge of buying it

I've noticed the rear seat pad doesn't sit flush to the tail panel.
Has anyone else seen this before?

Any help or advice much appreciated, cheers.

Hi david. That front seat is not the original one, if its the bike Im thinking off, (NTH sydney) and the rear (red) is typical My, 749s (black seat) looks a little better, may have something to do with the Temignoni muffler and heat. mine is dead stock.

Thanks mate, that rear seat isn't the end of the world, just wondered if it was a common thing.

New to Ducatis and don't know too much about them.

Cheers.

Yes it is normal. I got the same bike and the rear seat doesn't flush. Congrats!
