does the 999 lean way over?

I acquired a 999R Xerox earlier this year and have noticed that it seems to lean over on its sidestand much more than any other bike I have owned. Most bikes seem to lean at about 75degrees to the riders left side, my 999R seems like its leaning close to 55-65 degrees. My solution to this is putting a used ECU case under the sidestand but I am curious whether this is just my bike or the way all the 749/999 series lean.

I can say that I have had 3 and they all lean over pretty far, i keep a 1" board under mine, and keep the bolt tight on the kickstand.

all depends on ride height, more so in the rear. mine is set up for a 28" seat height and is just off 75 degrees

raise the rear on your other bike like 10mm and it will lean way over

I own 2 R’s and a standard 999, they all lean more than a Duc Panigale. After living with your 999 a while you’ll see advantages to this like parking on off camber surfaces.
