help with oil change, removed wrong plug

First time doing an oil change and didn't read the manual. I realize now I removed the wrong screw, the one directly beneath the mesh filter. Oil drained oil perfectly fine, but it's not the drain plug. Can I screw it back in and pretend nothing happened? What is this screw for and what torque should I set to?

many thanks

The mentioned screw is a galley plug. Ducati makes a hole there when boring the oil uptake and uses a screw-type plug. ALL belt-drive Ducatis have a plug at this location. It does not need to be removed for oil changes. To my knowledge, the only time you'll have it out is for assembly.

You can screw it back in, but change the crusher.

Torque would be:

Mesh filter duct plug

Thread: M 15x1 NM 20
MINIMUM: 18
MAXIMUM: 22

Notes: LOCK 5 or THREE BOND 1375B

Cheers.

Thank you Dutch! Regarding the filter, where can I find the tool that allows me to torque it in?

Also, where can I find the 1375B thread locker?

The oil filter itself?

In regards to the three bond; a medium 1324 would do.

How difficult would you say changing the oil was?

I don't have some of the tools I probably need like a good torque wrench or anything. The manual says to take it to the shop. My oil is so dark though, I wish I could figure it out without too much trouble.
