2008 1098s only 2169 miles

Long story short: Friend of mine who used to race AFM had been battling a medical condition for the last 7-8 years. In preparation for the end, he sold off his 2 race bikes, and then called me about his only street bike, which due to his situation, hadn’t been ridden since ~2011, although he did fire it up on the stands to warm it up, make sure things kept moving, etc. He intended to make it his primary track bike, but never got around to taking it to the track, which is why it has all the parts, but is still in street trim. The bike has never been down or tipped. I bought the bike in March, with just under 1700 miles on it, and have put about 500 miles on it. While I had an absolute blast riding this amazing bike this summer and ripping some twisties on it, the reality is that I just won’t use it enough to warrant keeping it around.

What it has:
-1098S w/ 2169 miles. Miles may go up a little if I ride it around, but not much.
-Arrow 71061CP Full system race exhaust, not just slip ons.
-STM MG048 slipper clutch: still has full 36mm clutch thickness
-Acculign rearsets: almost impossible to find anymore, high precision and adjustability.
-Nemesis ECU with CD and programming cable
-Nemesis GP shift pattern quickshifter: shifts up and down w/ no clutch needed.
-Dan Kyle 30mm offset triple clamps. Better handling
-Brembo 19x18 master cylinder for better brake feel
-14T front sprocket to keep it in the revs better
-offset mirror mounts to make them 2” wider so you can see more than just your elbows…
-front and rear bulldog pit stands, A set of never mounted slicks, clutch tool, and more.
- ALL STOCK PARTS included that were replaced by the above items. Also have all manuals, 2nd key, Data Acquisition module (w/ CD), Passenger pegs, passenger pillion pad, all receipts and more.

What’s been done:
As it sat without being ridden for a long time, even though it was started and heated on a regular basis, I took it to ACE motorsports where they did a full fuel flush, brake flush, All fluids changed, new battery, new cam belts and adjusted the valves and more.

This is mint condition, and you won’t find one with fewer miles on it. Registration good until May 2020.
$9000 and it’s yours.
