I did not run it on the dyno yet, but I would assume it gave me a few more ponies.

I used Tuneboy, they gave me a good package deal.

I really like the look of the Competition Werkes exhaust slip on. (Only $500.00) Looks great, opens up the entire back wheel to see, sounds good on You tube. Apparently though changing your exhaust voids the Ducati warranty. Does that mean if something goes wrong on your bike the dealer won't fix it if you've altered the exhaust. Is a ECU re-map needed? Any torque gain? Apparently the Werkes saves you 10lbs in weight from stock.
any advice appreciated.
Have and love the Competition Werkes.
So far have 24.000 kms(Total mileage now on it 27,000 kms.)and no problems. Dealer has never said anything about the pipe. Had Warranty work done on it. Touch wood.
No re map either.
Yes it does pop and bang on deceleration, less if you add the Db killer on it.
At the very least Cagers know you are there.
Tried it on and took it off immediately.
Love the sound without it. Your choice.
Love how it looks with the shorter pipe.
Really opens up the wheel.
When you take the OEM pipe off feel the weight difference.

Hello 1st Ducati,
Here is the link to the site and there are also sound bites if you would like to hear it.
Google the site and you will get an idea of how it really sounds
Sorry a bit pushed for time now.
Yes it is all black.
I can double check that when I get home.

I did not need to re map the system.
As the OEM pipe is large and the CW pipe is smaller unburned fuel will enter the pipe, thus causing some of the backfiring.
I also add this. Did not stop the backfiring but helped a small amount.

i use the Competition Werkes both of with/without dB killer for Diavel, I think it's quite big for the pipe for the exhause airflow. The torque is lower than the stock exhause. I will remove and replace with Akrapovic soon.Name: ImageUploadedByDucati.org Forum1388275445.744899.jpg
