Hey All... new to the Ducati family and love the bike. 2012 .... 796ABS ... needing some insight into what RPM range I should be riding this bike at for best performance.

The rpm range centered about the point of the 796's maximum torque – 6,250 2,000 rpm.

I try to ride mine around 5.5K on flat roads, but it you'll sometimes feel it lacking with elevation changes. ~6K it is smooth as silk.

Thanks took your advice and really made a difference. I was riding at around 3500 to 4000, but the higher rpm is a game changer.

Thanks... definitely made a difference in the ride. Higher rpm is where I needed to be.

I thought the same thing when I got my 796... it's a V-twin... well, L-twin, right? Low end torque... right? Wrong. 4000RPM + is where it likes to be, particularly at launch.
