Finally added the Competition Werkes GP slip-on

I listened every exhaust I could find on YouTube for this bike and this one was easily the best sounding to me. I’m so happy with the purchase. This is like straight ear porn. I ordered the baffle but I ended up not using it.

That looks amazing, even before taking the sound into account. Does it provide any more “heel room” vs oem?

Not really sure. I wear a size 8.5-9 so my foot never touched the stock exhaust. I see that complaint a lot tho. But wasn’t an issue for me. This exhaust shaves a hell of a lot of weight tho. It’s only 3lbs vs the stock 12lbs.

No, simple answer. The heal room is limited by the passenger pegs, not the exhaust. It is one of the worst design flaws on this model with very few affordable options to fix.

Nice! Did the same thing as you. Left the baffle out too. The SC Project exhaust is pretty sick too.

Here’s a pic of mine

SC Project was a close purchase for me. I really wish they had the dual cones like they do for the 1200

Hello!

If that twin SC exhaust was available for our bikes I would be all over that. I ended up going with the Hot Bodies exhaust cause it had the length and style I like and was dirt cheap. <$300, paired with the BMC filer and rapid bike fuel controller. Now the bike rips and sounds like it should. The look is ok, not the best, not the worst, but it works for me. Name: IMG_9276.JPG

I don't see why the dual SC Projects wouldn't fit. The Competition Werkes is also listed as 1200 only on their website.

I have the Full Six Carbon fairing. Best looking fairing out there imo. Don’t like the Ducati bubble fairing and hate the looks of the Puig fairing all together.

Yes!

So god dam much yes. I put a rapid bike on it and the K&N filter. I love it, now I would like to get a Dyno tune at EDR some point this summer to dial it all in perfect.

I installed CW silencer and changed oil last week and did some riding over the weekend with a friend whose 821 is 100% stock. Some interesting (maybe not) findings after ~150 miles trough twisties in the Rockies. We both started with full tanks and, at some point, we’ve decided to top it off: my tank had room for 1.2 gallon vs 1.6 in his tank. Also, his 821 was runing 10-15 degrees hotter while riding in high altitudes with 85-90 air temps. I am not mechanicaly inclined but I find these to be in favor of CW. Am I right?

Makes total sense. Slip-ons make this bike run leaner according to what I've read on here, which accounts for you having more fuel. And the reduced back pressure might explain the lower temps.

I LOVE the sound of this exhaust. I just wish they made it extend longer towards the back of the bike. It burns my passengers foot and my peg is turning black.

Beautiful bike. How did you manage to fill the gap left by the absence of passenger handles?
