Hydraulic conversion? Clear clutch cover 2017 monster 821

Hi,
Anyone got the answer if I actually need to convert my clutch to hydraulic on my 2017 monster 821 when fitting a clear clutch cover and cnc clutch plate?
By the look of the diagrams I have found a change between 2016 and 2017 models clutch plate designs etc.
Design corse sell some nice clutch plates and rings I was going to partner up with a Ducabike clear cover.
Donít quite understand if the hydraulic clutch conversion is necessary.
First diagram is 2017 clutch set up compared to second image of 2016 setup.
Thanks

From what I understand, yes you have to convert for the Ducabike clear clutch. Canít say for CNC. However find out which clutch you have. I think you can find out through your VIN# or take the case cover off. Apparently in mid 2017, Ducati switched clutches. 3 springs instead of 4. I found out after I ordered everything and the dealer was installing it. So the dealer ordered the right one for me. Mine had the new slippery clutch. Not the older clutch like in the 2015-2016 models. Just an FYI.

Had to convert it to hydraulic. Wasnít an option. The hydraulic clutch is so much more responsive and smoother than the the cable. Glad I did it.
