A Note On Tariffs -- Blue Jeans Cable

A message from a US audio/video cable maker whose products I use, related to their stake in the tariff game. Short, but very illuminating.

Unintended global consequences stemming from the economic ignorance of your 'fearless leader'. Still acting like the biggest/richest 12-year-old bully in the playground.
Whereas there could be a case mounted for someone standing up to the economic giant that China is becoming, it's not looking like he's up to it. Not exactly a united group of nations approach.
I'm inclined to think the Chinese admin are laughing at this manoeuvre. It will end up with more exceptions and repeals and just make a royal mess.
Just upsetting the delicate balance of world trade is going to impact on every nation, and potentially even heat up military tensions.
Like we needed this...

Regardless of political affiliation, can you provide an example of a country that experienced sustainable prosperity when implementing protectionist economic policies in the last 100 years?

Iím a bit bummed the whole trump thread went silent after people starting pleading guilty. That was my entertainment on this website other than whatís his name yelling at people for not using the search function lol.

Once people started pleading guilty and being convicted at trial, it apparently became too difficult to keep defending Trump as 'the best ever'. Go figure. Just doesn't make sense to rail about 'bogus FISA warrants' when they lead directly to multiple felony convictions. After that, it kinda all falls apart.

Yeah, makes you check your gag reflexes when you see obvious abuse of authority on FISA warrants that are now being proven to be the witch hunts he claimed. Here is your speeding ticket sir, sorry we caught that while we were going through your trash for your financials and threatening everybody you know. In DC nobody is clean or could stand up to that intense of scrutiny. They all should have to though. Absolutely all.

No worries, the rate this country is going we will be joining the other much larger economy that has tariffs meant to "neuter" anyone not of their liking.....China.
