Still around

I know some of you probably would rather I not be around LOL.

Anyways not for lack of wanting to be on the forum real life is busy.

Got the boy off to college we are officially empty nesters ( for now).

Started my tear down on the track bike, mostly just cleaning but I had to still the voltage regulator off it for my street bike as it finally went out on me with the weird dash issues.

The track bike needs the forks serviced and the street bike needs the rear shock serviced. Any recommendations I"m willing to ship I've lost faith in the local shop?

An yes this new job is sucking a lot of time and energy.

Also since the kids are gone the wife was concerned we had nothing to do together so for our wedding anniversary I bought us both membership to a gym, I need to get in shape over the winter for track and it is some time we get to spend together although its at 4am in the morning! we are on week 3 of the gym and it's going pretty good we do about 45 minutes a day considering I"ve never been to a gym.

Lost another friend to alcohol, not driving, liver. This one hit pretty hard as he was basically a big brother to me, was one of my sisters ex. Unlike the rest of the boy friends this one looked after me in all sorts of ways I would not be who I am without him. I'm going to miss that call every September

Any ways just wanted to say hi, I hope to be back regularly some day soon.

T

Hey bud, I too have been off the forum for a while.

Good to hear your bikes are good. GMD Computrack is a great place to have suspension services. I think they are nationwide. If not Computrack Boston is owned by a race buddies of mine. He knows his shit for sure.

The race season is over for me. I race in a 7 round series. ZERO crashes this year! In the Super Twins championship I ended up winning 6 races and a 2nd place in the last round. Woot! Championship winner! I get to take the big trophy home this year!

I think I may splurge for a super nice paint job for the racebike....

Just got married (2nd time lol) and my wife bought me a 2011 Diavel as a wedding gift, for us to ride together! What a WONDERFUL MOTORCYCLE!!

Anyways heres the current stable...

2012 Ducati 848 Corse......racebike
2011 Ducati Diavel........streetbike
2010 Ducati 1198S Corse.......display piece(how do I convince her to let me put it in the living room? )

Enjoy winter!

Congrats!

My wife says she will ride passenger again once her butt is smaller LOL. So I've been looking at a 3rd bike, but I want to spend money on the two 848s

We will see if this new jobs holds it's promise I might get some extra cash at the end of the year.

Thanks for the suspension info that's top of my list and a slipper for the track bike.

I'm glad to see you're still around.
A multistrada rear seat won't care about the size of her butt.
