How is everyone passing the time?

During this time of crisis and lock down, my gym and most restaurants have shut down in my town, curiously most bars and night clubs are still open? I've opted to stay home and exercise by hiking in places most people dont go to. I have also decided to start smoking again, trolling conspiracy theorists on Linkedin and masturbating in the living room. How is everyone else dealing with their downtime?

They said shelter in place....so I'm stuck inside my inner sanctum, aka a refrigerator box next to the pantry with a bucket, half a roll of TP, case of dark beer, and ten boxes of girlscout cookiies. I'ld complain but it gives me a break from the cramps from youporn.

Benefit of working for the government is nothing has changed for me. It's nice to see people freaking out over $#!% I deal with on a daily basis so, IDK; I kind of don't care how it affects everyone else I guess. My wife works for Hogue and she's looking at OT 'cuz, y'know, preppers are doing what they do best and my tenant is in the healthcare industry so we're all pulling some awesome OT.

I'm planning for the worst but I told them all we are have blanket open OT for the hourly guys to get as much in as possible in case we have to stay home. Additionally it looks like if we make adjustments (we are only 12 at the shop) we can stagger a skeleton crew every other week and for the week they are off share/work with unemployment.

If it comes to that..

We have the work but I can already see the supply chain slowing MIC6 is a bitch to get right now.

Right now all restaurants and fast food have been ordered to only sell take out but the state is talking about closing ALL food joints by this weekend. Combine that with the fact that grocery stores can't keep food on the shelves, that would cause pandemonium and become a bigger problem.

I hope California realizes that before it's too late.

The upside from what I've read is the grocery store food chain is domestic and the "Americas" it will have to get much worse before they are broke. Right now they can't keep up because the demand is unrealistic..

I'm putting my foot down with my wife tonight, both fridges and freezer are full along with the pantry. I'd rather waste our money on Ammo (but I can't find buck shot..)

In fairness since both the kids had to come back home from college we would of basically done this in the first place but I think the worry is setting in with her.

Our daughter was in tears yesterday when the college sent notice the year is over (it's her senior year) The one thing I was looking forward to this year besides some TD's was seeing her walk. It's a big deal for the wife and I considering we are both HS drop outs...

I meant more along the lines of taking away the publics alcohol, smokes and food will cause riots, only exacerbating a small problem into a full blown Rodney King type situation.
