She won't ride, she will occasionally do two up with me on the street bike when she feels her ass doesn't look to big but she was great to have along, I get along great with my brother in law but just her and I is better.

Kind of funny I thought about bringing the street bike and maybe taking a couple runs on it, but since both bikes look almost exactly the same I thought for one it would stand out way to much rolling up in the trailer, and second reason I didn't want people to come up and ask her why she doesn't ride putting her on the spot. Honestly while she swears she was athletic, I would never discourage her, but you know some people just don't have that natural ability to ride, she'd have to work at it and she's just too scared.

Thought about a little dirt bike for the wife as I'm looking for the girls right now. Scares me a bit as she is more accident prone and reckless then I am,(hard to imagine huh). Perhaps a little four wheeler would better suit her I think. She refuses to even touch any of my toys as they scare the shit out of her to no end. That said, she does like off roading in my old truck and getting air with the loader. Giggles like a school girl when pulling stumps and the ass end jumps up and she bounces over the steering wheel...yeah, I put the chains up high from time to time....for leverage....yeah that's it, leverage!

Not going to be able to make it to Beaver this year and they chipped every road around me in the past few weeks. Tomorrow the bike will get prepped and put up for the winter....sad day. Good to hear that your wife joins you at the track though, mine won't watch and doesn't even want the details.... I don't get it, I'm worth more dead then alive. Must be some other reason.

Going to be awesome seeing the pros, the instructor was telling me today that coming down the straightaway into turn 1 they basically donít use their brakes! Iím having a hard time computing this, especially when the instructors say I have race pace through turns 1,2,3.

you will love it!

Yeah, I remember racing with Polen at Little Talladega my first full season. He turned times almost 9 seconds a lap faster than I could at the time! It was a 1.2 mile cow pasture, with 11 turns crammed into it! I remember thinking "where in the fuck does he find 9 seconds in one fucking lap??? "

Have a daughter in Kings Bay Ga. She has a broken leg and foot with fresh plates and screws, not able to get to high ground. Made a mess of sammiches and a few cases of water ready. Told her to just strap an extra floaty to the cast and hold on tight. She rode out the last one in a camper a hundred miles inland and went without power for a week. No way for me to get her or her sorry but would be stuck with us for a week or two til it blows through and gets cleaned up.
I'm now in western SC, about an hour from the Asheville NC area. I'm sure we'll see some rain, but doubt we'll have any major impacts here. My friend's kids both live in Charleston, though, and they may be spending the weekend up here. They're at least going to see some stupid rain amounts down there!

My guess is it's going to be wet and windy in the south east for the next couple days. If it stays just off shore like the majority of the models now follow, it should remain a cat 3 and slam the OBX...Ö.stocking up on tuna!

Hope our south eastern riders are strapped in.
