Is he really a consideration to be President on the United States ?
Does that guy really have a chance or is it just a bit of a joke ?

I think it started as a joke but then it got out of hand! I think he can definitely win the Republican nomination, but I don't think there is enough inbreds and KKK members left in the US to get him elected pres!

He does have a chance and I could see it happening. All the peaceful, right-minded people will think "there's no way he'll get elected" but will only assume and do nothing about it. So he could win if enough competent people don't vote. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." It's scary that all his fear-mongering has been so successful. And this from the Huffington Post:

“Note to our readers: Donald Trump is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, birther and bully who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims -- 1.6 billion members of an entire religion -- from entering the U.S."

Apparently he has a chance at the Republican Party.

But demos, liberal, and centrist have the popular vote. The problem is the electoral college in my opinion it's a loop hole to rig the election much like what happened in Florida.

My prediction it will be Hillary, although I'd rather have a moderate republican. We need balance and it's time for a conservative but Jesus Christ you'd think the republicans could get some that does act like a child? I wish Colin Powell would run.

If trump becomes president we could literally have our own version of Hitler.

The sad truth is congress is the fuck up here if they'd do there job the president would have less power and we wouldn't have these problems.

Term limits for the career politicians is what's needed. 8 years can do damage but the lifers are the real problem.

I'm sure many of us outside of the US are between being puzzled and dismayed at this strange business.

The line between reality and TV/movies was blurred when Ronald Raygun got in back in the '80s - who would have thought we would have an even more egotistical, childish character stand up and be taken seriously by such a mighty nation?

Sure, it's perfect for the comics, singing 'We Shall Overcomb" etc, but this bloke is a threat to more than just hairdressing..

Not saying 'we know better', but it does sound like a good case for compulsory voting. If Trump gets in because no-one bothered to vote, the whole world could regret it.

It's not like there aren't any complicated world matters on the f-cking horizon.

As a certain ex-polly here is fond of reminding us - "important decisions are made by those who show up on the day".

Not trying to get involved in your political decisions, but really?!

Trump???

I actually want the outside perceptive.

I don't kid myself we are very far from perfect. The worry I have is the polarization and division no compromise.

I will admit day one of trump I was like yeah get in there and shake shit up! But every day after I was like wtf was I thinking. A little part of me still thinks it could do some good in a round about way. Like destroying what's called the Republican Party. I say this because it's not what it was. My father a life long almost 40 years in the army republican turned in is card after Bush II. I'd like to see a reboot of that party. Ted Cruz actually worries me more than trump.

It will all be ok in the long run its not a permanent position and we have the other two branches to protect us. I just hope in some way he does get in he doesn't do outside damage...

As for actors it goes hand and fist with money/power

The list has grown for actors
http://www.imdb.com/list/ls000025899/

If he gets in it won't because no one voted it will be because of the electoral college system not popular vote.

Cruz has a better chance than trump no way trump is winning big but you and I already agree to disagree on this.

But to your point about you vote not mattering, it's exactly why he doesn't win. The entire west side of Washington state (2/3) will vote republican. And it's 9 votes will be zeroed out by Seattle (king county) 9. That's why this state always goes demo.

I still dont think he will get in. The longer it stays a 4 person primary, the worse his chances get. And the establishment does not back him. I think the establishment will screw him when it comes time. Which is unfair for the people actually supporting him, but likely better for the rest of the voters, and the republican party. With the ridiculous amount of lies and smoke screens republicans have put up over the last 8 years, they should win this election by a landslide.

I wonder what happened to all the moderate republicans? Where did they go? The repub primary is just a pissing contest to see who can be the most conservative. Moderates have no-one representing them in this primary. I think the closest to moderate would be Kasich.

I think he has a big chance unfortunately. Started as a joke almost and now it escalated. He's leading in the polls for republicans. Likewise Hilary is in the lead for Democrats. So we're screwed either way.

Trump's advantage is that he's not Hilary.
Hilary's advantage is that she's not Trump.

They're both idiots.

Sadly the people that would be much better presidents have essentially no chance at making it.

So presidents are only allowed 2 terms. Shouldn't that apply to their wives as well? The Clinton's already had their 8 years

Presidents are only allowed 2 consecutive terms. But I do believe they could sit a round out, and run again.

If the younger generations would be out there voting more, I think Bernie would win.

They are all puppets. Trump won't get his wall built even if he wanted to use his own money. Hilary is a senile racist old white woman. You know the ones that steal from stores and act like they didn't know what they were doing when they put the bottle of wine in their purse and say racist things but don't remember them saying it 5 minutes ago? We have such a screwed up congress. They all sit on their hands so the other party can't do anything. If you're mad at Obama for not getting something done, you're an idiot. If you think Obama hurt our country, you're an idiot. He was the first legitimate "good" human to sit in the office for a long long time. If you think Obama wanted to take your guns, you're an idiot and need to stop watching Fox. Does he think we need to control the type of people to have access to guns like little Jimmy that was never given special time with his parents and then they got a divorce so he decides to go shoot up a bunch of little babies? YES! Fack yes. I always said we need to have a DMV but for guns. You can have as many guns as you want but they should be tested, you should be tested, anyone in your family that wants to look at the gun should be tested. And the final test should be psychological and if you have depression or are unstable, you do not have a right to own a gun. If you have any signs of being influenced by a radical, you do NOT have a right to own a gun (would this solve gun deaths and gun problems getting into the wrong hands? No! But it would help and it would be doing SOMETHING other than sitting around waiting for the next insane person to shoot up little ones or other innocent people). Fuck your 200 year old piece of crap amendment written by old white men who were so lazy they thought it was a good idea to OWN A RACE OF PEOPLE (AFTER KILLING ANOTHER RACE OF PEOPLE SO WE COULD OWN THIS LAND).

This wasn't aimed at any of you. Just morning thoughts on this country. Hello people!
/morning rant over. Time for coffee.
