MI moving question

Hello,

I was living 7 years in MI (before in Europe) then I moved to CA in regards of my job. Now it looks they want me back in MI. My greatest hobby is my bike and I feel just horrible about the news with all the good Canyon roads I got here in CA.

Not sure right now where I have to move but I assume in the Clinton Twp. area.

Are there any good roads out where knee dragging is possible or where are race tracks loacated?

many thanks for any infos.

Robert

I ride with Detroit Sport Bikes, they have groups all over Metro Detroit. Go to the Motorcycle Show at The Rock Financial Show Place in January.

I hope this isn't considered advertising just trying to help a "NEW" Local out, there will be lots of riding clubs there. I know there is one called "The West Loop" it goes around all the lake routes in Oakland County, definately the hilliest of the Metro Detroit Counties.

Or check with the guys(Rob,Bob, Jose, anyone really) at TTM Ducati, Clinton Twp, they are great for service as they won the MidWest 2007 Top Service Dealer Award.

Just FYI since your moving right into their neighborhood. They go to Gratten raceway on the Eastside of Grand Rapids for trackdays.

Many thanks for all your posts.

TTM is where I got two Ducs from in the past incl. my current 1098. When I move back they will have me also back again.

I will still be in CA for the Novi show.
I planned to go with Apex2Apex on all the upcoming trackdays for Grattan and BeaveRun. Further I would like to check out trak in Mid Ohio. I also migh try to get my WERA licence.

In case someone is going to the Novi show I would like to ask a question. There are trailor stands offered from condor lift. They have special show prices and I would like to get one stand. I case someone can buy one for me and I will pick it up then sometime end of January or beginning of February I would be very thankful! Of course I will give the money in advance!

best greetings,
Robert

Don't forget Gingerman Raceway for track days too. Get yourself over to the left side of Lake Michigan so you can ride Road America at least once. Sounds like you are dialed in otherwise - TT Cycle, Ducs Unlimited and Grattan. DU has lots of local rides most every weekend.
