Ha Ha-

I wish i could make it back to SoCal, I miss it.

But, I think I'll pass on the invitation for now.

I also agree my post is quite dead even though it was only an hour old before you posted.

I guess i was wishfull thinking that there might be any other Duc owners in KY.

Well the winters in my opinion arent to bad, I rode one or two days each month all winter long. I was actually quite suprised after moving here from Iowa last year.

ASM, I'm about 45 miles south of you (FT Knox). If you want to get something together, shoot me a PM. Despite your lack of a Ducati, I'd still ride. Also, if you're serious about getting another Duc, I strongly recommend Indy Ducati. They are totally worth the drive!

alaska,

Sure...will come back to that...haven't ridden much since my crash (which was kind of disturbing to me since it was the first time...).

I actually drive down to Lexington today to evaluate my urge to get a 848...

But I also heard good things about the Indy place....any opinions on Lexington and/or Louisville dealers?

I haven't been to the Lexington dealer so I won't comment on them. Louisville isn't bad, however, Indy is just that much better. I race my 848 and was looking for suspension at different dealers when I moved down here from Alaska. Louisville pretty much told me that I should get a TTX or nothing for a rear shock, no mention of the DU515 at all. And the feeling I got from them was I buy it, they install it, then I figure it out on my own. Matt Carr at Indy Ducati actually sat down with me, listened to what I had to say as far as experience level and intentions, explored several options with me and spent time actually helping figure out what would work for me, not what was the most expensive. We worked out a very reasonable price for everything I wanted and they installed it. The best part is that rather than just sticking parts on my bike, he actually helped me set it up initially as well as went way above and beyond what he had to to make sure I was ready for my first race as well as subsequent track days. Bottom line is they are the best shop I've been to in my 15 years of riding.
