i cannot really say what a jerk feels like, mine if there was no sound i couldn't detect any issues. i am only annoyed by the sound, the launch is smooth.

the issues i had installing my KBike was that it required the friction disk first on the basket not steel. the only thing i notice since then is grinding noize on take off...

ps - when the bike cools down, the lever is hard where i left it and i have to set it where it was before i adjust, until i brake some times again and i need to put it back further away again.

slipper on the track is a brilliant thing for me. entrance on corners is smoother due to engine braking, especially with trail braking. do you not find it useful yourself?
