OK...If you are in traffic here's my thought: The ECU commands fan on at ~220f (104C) and turns the fan off at ~ 210f...

See my previous post. Unless you are idling for prolonged periods or putting along behind traffic, it won't overheat due to fan malfunction. Ride and enjoy.:)

Yeah. The error is generated when there is an open circuit in fan circuit. Could be a bad connector or broken wire.
