Well since there's no way your running the same tires as the ones that came on the bike the manual is useless. Tire pressure is sort of a preference kind of like suspension set up.

that's really all you need. Maybe also a might vac for flushing the brake and clutch lines. The clutch fluid turns black fast so I flush it often and the mighty vac just makes it easier.

Too bad the 1198 doesn't have the hole on the bottom of the triple for a pin like the 848. The wood craft stand is by far the easiest front stand I've ever used.
