900SS - Looking for a restoration shop in QLD

Does anyone know of a vintage motorcycle restoration shop in QLD they can recommend? I'm having a difficult time finding one who can handle engine builds.

More info...

Hi, this username belonged to my father, who died tragically late last year in an accident on his property. Motorcycles were a life long passion for him, and now I'm hoping to carry that on.

My dad had a number of bikes which he was currently riding, although one bike in particular was becoming his pride and joy. A Ducati 900SS Bevel which he had almost fully restored. Only things left to do were assemble the engine and install the remaining parts to frame.

Many thanks - J

Hi J . Sorry to here about the passing of your father I remember him being on here .
Great that you are going to finish his bikes but unfortunately finding someone with a realistic time to build bevel motors is becoming harder to come by .

Really sad to hear your dad has passed. I found him to be helpful and all round nice guy though never met him.

I would recommend you ask the DOCQ guys..

I am sure Terry White will be one of your best for asking. Try email to [email protected] and ask.

Good luck.

Leif and Axel Martinsen from Bikebuilders.com do amazing restoration work. Based in Albion , 35 Crosby Rd. Seen a few stunning bevels they have completed and they are currently building a classic engine for me. Two thumbs up

Guys, thank you all very much. This gives me a great place to start.

I'll be sure to post some before and after pics.

Cheers - Jeremy

Sorry for your loss.

Please consider Arthur Davis at Desmoheadquarters Byron Bay as a good place for expert Ducati service, old and new.

Desmo HQ - Desmo Headquarters is an authorised Ducati dealer and service centre located in Byron Bay, Australia

Doc at VTwins is good with bevels.
They are kind of a Harley shop these days.
Think I met your dad a couple of times back in the day, did he do an odd rally?
