Best way to learn everything about your bike of interest is to Google it. Check for the common problems associated with that model of bike. Look for reviews posted by independent sources who can provide feedback on the performance and specifications of the bike and most of all take one for a test ride if you haven't done so. This will give you a lot of information as it will either be what you are looking for or the complete opposite.

Hangtime... ive owned one since Jan this year. Got it with some damage, and now back on the road. Easy bike to work on (compared to full fairing bikes obviously) and rides beautifully. The list/option to mod/personalise is never ending - which is what i love most about it, and the reason i wanted one. Even as a completely stock bike looks beautiful - but if you want to go custom - the options are endless - go even more classic/old skool, or mix it up with modern bits as a modern cafe racer. Have seen both done, and both look awesome. Im keen on the classic look, and retaining that.
Its the first 2 valve Ducati ive owned, and first custom 2 wheel project, but this will be a keeper for me...
