This is a 2007 Ducati 1098 engine with 11,000 miles. This is a good running engine but was making a rattling noise coming from the transmission side of the case behind the front sprocket. The noise would go away as the engine warmed up. The location of the noise was found using a mechanics stethoscope and the engine internals were checked out with a boroscope and nothing major was found. The engine was removed to disassemble, locate and fix the noise but came across an 1198 engine and bought it instead. Just compression tested the engine cold and the horizontal cylinder tested 190psi and vertical cylinder tested 180. Engine was still running and producing good power when removed. $1700. Will ship on your dime. Does not include oil cooler.
