I have an 1198 engine in my 1098, i have 1198 headers and tailpipes. I dont want 1198 mid pipes as I dont need/cant use the extra sensor. So my question is will a standard 1098 centre section fit, (570.1.260.1a) or a standard 848 exhaust, or would it need to be off an evo? If anyone has a 1098 that can measure the pipe diameters that would be awesome. Then I can check fitment myself. Sadly my original centre pipe went "lost in the post" between the UK and New Zealand, so back to square 1. cheers . Photo taken before the engine went in!

I thought I'd be able to help as I did have an 848 Evo one in the shed, but upon inspection it must have got binned in the last big clean out!
You could try contacting Pat @ Marco Imports as he has a 1098 one in stock for $100 - it's halfway down this page on the LH side, listed as Header pipes D7: Exhaust
FWIW I've seen this part 57012601A listed on Ebay and various other sites to fit 1098S/1098/848/1198 but not sure if I'd bet on that...
