I recently bought a 07 1098 that came with a 70mm full termig exhaust with no silencer (See attachment)

This bike gets fair bit of attention in my townhouse complex, especially early in the morning which I don't want to annoy my neighbour...

Can I re-use the same silencer from the stock muffler? if not what silencer should I get? coz I knew there are newer and older style?

You should be able to use the stock mufflers on the 70mm system I think, being that the carbon slip-ons fit the stock pipe

I don't think the stock muffler's silencer can be detached..

But found some on Ebay Italy

I think the OP is asking about the complete muffler not the db killer inserts

I had 2 sets, i sold a set last year i think for $50 or $75 or something. My bike is 100% track, and if I didn't think there was a chance I'd need the other set for Laguna Seca (only track I know I could go with noise restrictions) I'd sell this set too. Just buy a set somewhere though.
