1100 EVO - 7,500 Service Question

When the first service was due on the motorcycle it popped up with a service engine indicator. Does the 7,500 mark service do this also on the 1100 EVO?

I ask this because I need to get tires and I am at 7,100 miles. The dealer is a ways away and I have two choices. Run on blade tires or do the service early. I really do not want to go there, get tires then go back and have the service done again beck a use the engine computer is yelling at me.

Thoughts? Or can I just have this done when I want it done.

You can have it done early, no harm in that. Waiting to get it done is gambling. They check your belts and do the valves at 7500. So if it a belt looks bad they replace, so if you go over and you have a bad belt you run the risk of losing it and messing up the engine if you don't catch it early enough. Just have it done when you change tires but you will have the service light come on at 7500 regardless can't get rid of it unless you take it back to the dealer. So if your ok with the light then get it done. Just my opinion on it

Yeah I am not sure I want to deal with the light till the next oil change. Does it come on right at 7,500?
