Hi Everyone,

I have the opportunity to purchase an almost new 1199 full system for my 899, but I wanted to make sure it would fit first.

I understand that the upmap will NOT work (it's okay, because I have a PC5 with auto tuner). My question is around the head pipes- will the pipes from an 1199 Termi exhaust fit into my 899?

I'm all set on this.

The pipes will fit but there were concerns since they are 20mm wider thank stock. Won't be a problem though because I bought good engine management. Might lose some midrange, but the dealership will tune it out, and if necessary, drop down from a 15 tooth sprocket to a 14 to make up for the lag.
