Hi guys, I am doing some chain and sprocket service on my 2000 748. The bearing holder clamp in the rear(imaged in the arrow pic) that you use the C-span tool on seems to be having some problems. In the repair manual it details being able to turn it clockwise to loosen the chain and counter clock to tighten the chain. I turned it as far as it would go clockwise and the chain was loose but nowhere close to loose enough to remove. So naturally being an idiot I pushed harder clockwise until suddenly the chain started tightening again! Has anyone else EVER experienced this and is there a way to fix it? Or is that bearing just toast now. 2nd pic is of the front sprocket not the rear.
