Hi all, new here and looking to get the 796. Have been looking locally and came across one with the following specs:

2011 796 (Non ABS)
3680 miles

Mods: Termignoni exhaust system
Power Commander V5
K&N filter
Tank Grips

Never been down from what I could tell.

Asking Price: $6,950

Is this a good asking price? What should I be looking to pay for a 2011? $6,950 seems really high. KBB and NADA are too far apart in their estimates. I see 2013 and 2104's listed at 7-7.5k but they are not local to me.

Thanks.

That's pretty darned high...

I paid $5K for my '13 ABS with 4K on it. Granted, it doesn't have the upgrades that one has, but I wouldn't pump the price up $2K for that stuff, either.

I would also be looking for service records with any Ducati as well... particularly one that's been modded up.

$5000? That's "pretty damn cheap". If you got a '13 796 with only 4K on it you scored big time.

The price of the OP's question is more average.

I just sold an '09 696 with 28k for $5000.

I paid $9k just recently for a '14 796 with 2k on it.

I'm not saying you're not wrong, but I've seen bikes similar in age for less. I know much of it requires being in the right place at the right time... both as a seller and a buyer. AFAIK, I gave a fair price for a fair bike at $5K, I didn't think anything of it at the time.
