2012 1199 ABS in New Jersey 3K $10,699 Must Go! STOCK

Bike is sold!

Got $10,500 with rear stand and new seat cowl included.

PSA: for all you other fools trying to get $15,000-$18000 for your 1199's- keep dreaming.

Dealerships are selling leftover 2014 1199R's for $10,000 off sticker, S model leftovers for $9,000 off sticker, etc. your used 1199S is worth about 12,000 on the market today. Sad to see retail is 50% after 3 short years. Helluva loss, but owning a home far exceeds owning a motorcycle that leaks every other month ;)

$10,999. Bike has 48 hours to sell or it will be stripped and sold piece by piece.

Bike needs a new home immediately.
Don't know what your reasoning is but parting it out will be LOADS more work and hassle, even if you need cash Asap

Your bike WILL sell..just wait for the right buyer for a few days - instead of dropping the price every couple of days.

Good luck with the sale

I too am also curious about this ...why would you take a perfectly fine bike like this and part it out ??

are you gonna make so much more by doing this that it is worth it ? I got to imagine all parts are going to take much longer to sell then a whole bike would

Good luck with the sale ..beautiful bike

Ive parted out 1199R's and an HP4 when I couldn't get them sold previously. It was an absolute headache to do, but I ended up making at least what my original asking price was, and was able to get everything sold relatively quickly. It taught me a ton about these bikes pulling them apart, so I've also gained a helluva a lot of confidence in stripping them to do most of my own work, so yes, when push comes to shove yes I'll part out a perfectly fine bike because it needs to go. But I will not give it away. My current price is already thousands below every other 1199 in the United States and yet so many people think they have a chance sending me some outrageous number. I'll strike a match to the tank before selling for less :rlwhore::rlwhore::rlwhore::BoomSmilie_anim:

In conclusion should you want to not see such a beauty stripped apart and sold piece by piece you should buy it :D

Didn't base panigalis come with a non color screen? Only the S and R version. Just wondering. Also how did you cost that annoying Ducati black plastic thing on the rear seat cover. Looks good. Please PM if you bought it from a shop
I'm not sure what you mean... All 899/1199's came from the factory with a short standard clear windscreen. Only the 2013-2014 R models included a taller slightly tinted screen separately in a box.

No, my 1199 ABS dash had a white background, not black - thought only the S or R was black? Possibly is setting, never really played around with it before I sold it but the black definitely looks sicker!

You can switch the 1199 dash between day and night mode...if memory serves me right...day settings has a white dash whereas night settings has a black one...

You are correct. You can set it to automatically change during daylight and night time. Some bikes may be set to only one background which is why the guy is confused. :)
