I just purchased my first Ducati and this is my first post so thanks to all who respond. I have a 2013 Hypermotard, not SP, and the throttle has issues. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like it is in safe mode or limp mode. It will run but it won't go above 4-5000rpm. I have tried switching it from mode to mode but no change. The only thing that worked was to start it up when cold and without touching the throttle I let it get to 219 degrees of temp then shut it down to reset the computer. That has worked but it's a pain to have to pull over to let the bike cool down or wait till I get home etc. Thoughts?

on a fuel injected bike , car or anything you should never use the throttle when starting it just causes issues
