Does anyone know if they have a second wave ecu that is to correct the stalling issue? If so, how is your power?? Does it ride like an I4 but sound like a twin? Or does it feel strong 7k to red line and lift the front tire in 1st -4th on straight line? I ask because my stock bike was a torque monster ( Zard slips) until I took it to the shop for stalling. Since then it's been in the shop 3 times, almost 3 weeks, completely readjusted, and now still runs like a 1000cc. I'M PIST THE [email protected]#K OFF!!! It's currently in the shop getting a DP ecu to see if it will end this madness. My concern is if you guys have great running bikes then WTF did DNA not do to my bike? I feel Like DNA has the 3 stooges :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: resolving this problem and are not fixing it properly. :stickpoke

I have a stock 1098 that has never had the stalling problem and I have felt the tire lift a little in 1st and 2nd gear but I don’t ever recall it getting out of control. Since I have not had my first service yet, I have yet to redline the bike but I personally don’t think the tire would lift in 3rd and 4th unless I clutched it.

My 1098 is from the second batch that came out. They come with the updated ecu and a bigger rear axle. So the standard rear stand made for the 1098 wont fit either. DNA said that if you got a stand like that, the dealer is suppose to order you the new pin for free. About the ecu and the power is absolutely awsome. I have no problems at all and it runs great.

Mine lost some torque when they put the new ECU in and I took it back to the dealer and had it adjusted. It was running pretty lean and now it is fine. I can get the front wheel off in 1st and 2nd but not 3rd and 4th.

My stock ecu was the updated one and it ran fine, it did have some stalling issues about a month after i got it but that was fixed by tuning. I now have the Termi's and it runs even better! It sounds like either you got a bad updated ecu which has happened or your dealer doesn't know how to tune the bike properly.
