Ever get the feeling in this universe we live in that you’re very small and insignificant?
That age-old existential question was literally rammed home to this motorcyclist who was forced to jump clear as a large truck slowly rounded a corner, completely oblivious to his presence, and steamrolled his high performance Ducati.
Footage taken from a helmet-mounted GoPro, and uploaded to YouTube on Monday, shows the rider purring up to an intersection in Peckham, London as a large blue and yellow truck approaches.
“F__king hell!” shouts the incredulous rider, sensing potential danger as the truck ominously bears down on him, with no sign that the driver has seen him or has any intention of slowing down.
As the motorcyclist’s worst fears are realised, he jumps clear as the truck crunches his Italian sports bike into the bitumen.
Adding insult to injury, the truck driver tries to reverse out of the mess, but only succeeds in dragging the Ducati up the street.

Reminds me of what happened to a guy I work with... He was following a large delivery truck (think furniture, etc) that apparently couldn't find a certain driveway/address. They came to a slow stop in the road then started backing up the street, oblivious that he was behind them. He laid on the horn and was pushing back as fast as he could but had to jump off and watch them back over and destroy his Super Tenere.
Wasn't able to go around due to a curve in the road so he couldn't see if anyone was oncoming.

I give the guy credit for staying pretty calm. I would have dragged him out of the truck but I'm from the time where people need a good ass beating for being so god damn dumb! Especially as he continues to back up even though the guy says not to. I hope insurance took care of it all!
