I’m not mechanically inclined so I appreciate any help. I found a leak and could use some advice.

1. What part is this exactly and should I just try tightening it?

2. that’s oil dripping right?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance

Fairly common especially if the bearing in the pressure plate starts failing and forces the rod to rotate which will wear the little o rings. For the sake of a few dollars they are easy to replace anytime you are unsure about their effectiveness/age.

I dunno…..looks more like coolant leaking down from the hose connection above.

Unless you have fluorescent brake fluid or engine oil, coolant is my guess. Give it a taste; if it is sweet, it’s coolant.

That's engine coolant. Look at any cooling lines above that area and tighten the clamps a bit. I'd guess the rear cylinder cooling hose is loose.
