very nice! only reason i ask is i have a 2000 748 with just over 5k miles (appx 8000 km's) and was curious what they valued your bike at. I don't think i could give up the 748 although i agree more power would be nice.

Congrats on the new bike btw

Thanks much, it's a blast.. and easy to ride. Was sad to see the 748 go but didn't have the garage space for 2 ducs. I'd imagine you'd get more for your 748 in the States than I could here in good ol Belgium.

Nice deal Joby. Your 748 looked beautiful. Can't go wrong though, less maintenance, more riding time, and just a squeeze of extra power. :yo:

Have fun and don't forget to get some rearsets. :stickpoke

Thanks! Rearsets are def on the list. As everyone else has complained with the 899, the stock pegs suck. Just installed lsl pegs last night which will do fine until I decide on rearsets.
