how much is a 7500 mile service typically - spectrum's (so cal) rate is 800 bucks...is that the norm

I was quoted 720 from my dealer. They said you could dramatically drop the price by changing your own oil, which they said is pretty easy to do. You can also remove all your own body work and truck the bike in. My dealer claims that doing all the prep myself can cut $250-$300 off the service charge.
