My '08 848 has a really snatchy throttle opened. I have to open it really really slowly for the first few degrees, then I can nail it, otherwise the bike really surges. It makes it difficult to ride around town & tricky on the track getting back on the gas out of corners. I have DP ECU & PCV and Akra cans with the exhaust valve disconnected. Cams have been timed, valves adjusted, cylinders balanced.

Thanks

Check the cables. They could be binding up and making the throttle response really jerky.

Do you feel anything physically wrong with the cable? Or does it feel fine?

If you do it when idling, do you see the RPM's change when you open the throttle? Or is the problem only when you're riding it under load?

Do you have to much play in the throttle? Have you ever adjusted it? I've had to do mine a few times, also make sure you lube them

Changed the throttle tube lately?
Sometimes the throttle cam can rub on the housing causing it to stick.
