Hi,
Newbie to 900SS but figured I could take rear wheel off and put it back on...maybe?
Seems like I have to spread the swingarm out about 4-5mm to get the wheel and caliper hangar to fit in between. Is this right? Doesn't seem right. What am I doing wrong? Shouldn't be this difficult. Shop manual no help...of course.

Did it come out OK? You have to slip the caliper holder slot over the key on the swingarm. Put the wheel in first. Then the holder.

What ELSE did you do??

As HOUSE says.. People ALWAYS lie..

Did you drop the spacer? did you refit everything the same as it came apart?

WHY did you take off the wheer?? just to see if it did come off?

Need a little more info..

Plus WHAT 900SS do you have?
