Hi All
I am new to this forum as i am about to purchase a 916 SPS. It has 13000 miles excellent condition however i have a few questions regarding paint:

The front of the bike has a white panel similar to the Foggy version and the pin stripe between the red and white is gold. The mirrors are red.
Can someone confirm if this is correct.

There was no white panel on the front, the gold stripe was on the tail and mirrors were black.
'97 or '98.

There's a locating pin on the handle bar that slots in underneath the top triple clamp. See if they are damaged or bent. An indication it has gone down. Maybe why the fairing/mirrors were altered. Maybe not.
