Hi all, I'm new to this forum so forgive me if I'm posting another thread thats already been covered.

I live in Dubai and my beloved 1994 916sp died on me, after having it rebuilt and not running I decided to buy a 2000 996sps engine to drop in it and the problems I'm am going to be faced with are the following;

1. 916sp has a phase two alternator, 996sps has a three phase.

2. The engine mounts on the 996sps are 2mm wider.

3. The biggest problem and the one that I'm not sure how to overcome is that the 916sp has one crank sensor and the 996sps has two.

Both use the same ecu and injectors.

The first two problems are fine and I can see how to solve them but the 3rd has stumped me. Anybody out there got a genuine 996sps wiring loom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as these bikes are hard to come by over this end of the world.
