Im looking at importing a 999S into australia and have spoken to a dealer in Sydney about having the Australian Compliance done. I was woundering if there was other people who do compliancing ? And has anyone had expirienc with this process ?

I think your out of luck on the 999. You can most likely only get here as a race bike only .

No, you can get them complianced for road use. There is a crowd in Sydney that can do any model ducati but specialise in 999 series. Its not cheap but can be done. I'm just shopping around to see if anyone else does it.

I was looking at doing this last year from the UK to Aus, but it was to hard and complicated. The guys I spoke with was Maurice at raider Motorsport http://www.raidermotorsport.com.au/
Was very clued up to all import procedures and straight up with true costs.
