I would like to thank everyone on the forums who have provided invaluable information on how to change a good motorcycle into a great one. I have done the speedymoto 10 spoke ti clutch cover with red caps and black kukri plate...even my wife thinks it looks good. Also, I've added 6000k HID to both sides which makes an amazing difference in lighting and looks. I tried to add led parking lights(Ba9s) and only worked on one side...I have some H6W 6 bulb leds coming from england and will post-if they work.I've been able to do all of this work on my own which adds to pride in ownership as it is something I have done. Fall project...install led turn signals and underseat plate relocator.

Again, thanks to all who make the forums so great.

Rob,

I agree, and thank you for saying so. This is by far the best board I've been a member of.
Many knowledgeable and passionate people about Ducatis' here, and just enough head-butting to keep it interesting. :D

I bought the auto kit with two lights...it takes about 1.5 hours to install - at least for me, and I have no previous experience with this kind of work. most of that time is removing/placing the dang fairings!

that blue is actually the color algorithm of the kodak camera my wife has. They are actually much "whiter" in person/practice. The 4300k (or 5000k) has a little more lumen output and a little more white, but I did want a little blue...looks European (think bmw). I definitely like the look of the bandit helmet - different from everything out there, especially with the understated black matte (flat) finish. The wife, who knows things fashion/cool even eeked out a thumbs-up on the helmet

Visitor Q (Jason)...
thanks for your write-ups...they are what inspired my new hobby as wrench monkey! I wish parts were free and time plentiful. Please keep us up-to-date on further cool mods.

Ahhhh… Get out of here ya big lug.

Ducati’s are new to me and a lot different than my Honda when it comes to certain things. I know I am not the only one here who this is their first Italian Stallion. As a pressure plate and clutch cover I’m sure is “old hat” to some, it was new to me so I decided to do a write-up for people in the same boat.

A forum (to me) is only as good as its users and what they put into it… I try and do my part.

I appreciate the many thanks I have received for the write-up and it makes my job all that much easier when it comes to the next one. :)

Now if you guys only want to start PayPal me some money I can get to it much sooner. :D
