Hi all,

I've searched the forums and can't find anything but apologies if someone has posted on this already.

I have a Canadian delivered 2000 996 (that I love very very much) and am about to ship in to the UK, where my partner and I are transferring to. Shipping is not a problem but I am trying to find out as much as possible about the import process. Most posts seem to refer to US bikes but does anyone have any experience of taking a Canadian bike to the UK?

My Canadian bike is stock save for a pair of Ferracci pipes, which I realise I might have to change back to get it registered in the UK. I have great access to a Ducati dealer here in Vancouver.

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Hey Julian. hardly worth the hassles, sell it and buy another over there, plenty of them and dirt cheap also, Once you start trying to deal with these government bodies in these matters you will age at least 10 years, or go on a shooting spree! either way it will end up being a pain in the arse.
