I just bought a K&N oil filter for mine... just because its easier to deal with my local racebike shop then drive 40 minutes each way to the dealer.
Was pleasantly surprised to see the K&N has a 17mm hex on the bottom of the filter (to make it easier for future removal), and its already drilled for safety wire
