Akra full system

I'm not running one yet, but I expect to install a full Akra system and a PC3 sometime in the next 6-9 months. Please let us know how yours goes, both the installation and performance. thx. Kevin

Had a full Akra system on my triple nine. Excellent system, but VERY pricey! The system for the 1098 looks very nice, but once again, that damn price tag...

Hmmm...unless I missed something here, the answer is quite simple...the first one lists the price in Euro while the second one uses dollars...

Price $2399 USD. Thats if Hardracing come good. I am thinking that there are no systems yet landed in the States. I have Akrapovic slip-ons on my KTM super Duke and they are very well made. Darren H..

The exchange for Euros is about 1.40.....so the "Expensive" system is about $ 3,927.00. And, will it work right ?????

Akrapovič is the Slovenian made product, and in terms of quality and power increase is the best in the world, and it is also full titanium. They make the exhaust for factory racing Yamaha team and some others.

That's norm for high-quality Akra stuff. The R6 pipe was over 3K as I recall, yet the Graves stuff was nearly as good for 1,300.

I'm going to go for Graves or Termi's with mine. Not worth all the money I think, even if you're racing.

I was at BSB (British Superbike) meeting on sunday and spoke to the buildbase 1098 team who run the Akrapovic system on their bikes, they said it is about £2200 in the Uk ( $4400). I telephoned another dealer today and he agreed with the price.

If Hardracing are going to sell them for $2399 that is only £1200 which is £1000 ($2000) cheaper than the UK, surely there cannot even be that much profit margin in an exhaust or that much price difference from one country to the other, the exhaust are made in europe so I just cannot figure this out, the same as the bikes, Ducatis are made in europe and are much, much cheaper in the US.

Anyway, the technician said that if I was considering changing my full Termi system for the Akrapovic system I should leave the uprated Termi full system ecu as it is and it would run fine with the Akra's.
