Hi. I have had my 2013 848 Evo Corse SE for a few months and am about to get my third tank installed. When I first got my bike the tank was beautiful but after 3 months I noticed that on the front of the tank the aluminum. Was getting almost what I would call a "rash". The brushing looked off and discolored. Got it replaced and same thing happening. Anyone else have this happen and know the cause ?

I've had my 13' corse 11 months, haven't noticed anything odd. I'll check when I get home in a week, where do you live? Maybe it's a climate thing, the front of the tank being near the gauge cluster?

Hi. I live in Toronto Canada. Bike is always garage kept. Seen maybe 3 minutes of rain. Tried getting a pic but hard to capture the rash but no dice. Guess wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

I have a 2010 R Corse, ~2K miles or so and garage kept. No water has ever touched it and tank is spectacular.

+1 on the dealer may be effing with it.
