I know there are a few lucky persons on the forum to have received their tricolores. Have you guys experienced any stalling or any other issues. I had been waiting on a 07 s, but since I am about 200 miles away from the nearest dealer I really don´t want to put up with any of the first year bugs so I may just wait for an 08 s. I was just wondering if the tris (which I believe are the latest production 07s), taken that they have the termis are experiencing any stalling.

Thanks

I've had my Tri for a week now, 450 miles. It stalled twice the first ride out sitting at lights, temp gage over 220 degrees F. It was more like a shut down but started immediately. Since then no stalls. The full Termi's and ECM are installed and the A/F mixture was cranked up. Also, all the emission crap is in a box with the stock exhaust. :naughty:

Nope, never once has mine stalled...

I had the full termi installed before they even started the bike after taking it out of the crate. So I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

My Tricolore was running very rich, using the Techno Research Vehicle Diagnostic ScanTool software which is pretty cool, I was able to reset the service indicator after the first 600 mile oil change. While I was playing with the software I found you can adjust the fuel / air mixture. Mine was set to +30 (what ever scale that might be). Not having a exhaust gas analyzer, I'm playing with fire but I leaned the bike slightly to +20. It feels much better and the seat of the pants dyno says I done good.

Looking at the color of the exhaust pipe, I went from dark black to a better looking light brown. Still no stalls with 900 miles on the odo...

As far as I know most bikes come from the factory set at 0 with a range of -15 to plus 50 so, yes, 30 is rich. As long as you have the ability to play with this, drop it down to 0. I'll bet your bike will start stalling. Mine is currently set a 15 and does not stall.

I just know I shouldn't ask this but I can't resist. What's the story on this Techno Research device? Sounds like a tweak freak's dream. Lordy but I know better than to get into this.
